Energy Therapy for the 21st Century 

 Workshops - 2009/10 dates

 These workshops are for those who have had no previous or some Polarity Therapy training and are keen to attain a practical understanding of how to use natural life energy to promote health and wellbeing. The workshops are particularly useful for therapists who would like to add Polarity Therapy understandings and techniques into their treatment protocols.

Outcomes: Participants will attain a practical understanding of:

       • Dr Randolph Stone’s Polarity Therapy

       • The Polarity Principle

       • The human body life energy

       • The Polarity General Treatment bodywork

       • Elementary Polarity Therapy yoga postures

       • Polarity Therapy Nutritional and Dietary principles

Course Outline and Overview:

Participants will be introduced to the fundamental principles of Polarity Therapy. Each participant will learn to give a basic Polarity Therapy session. Participants will also experience the benefits of receiving several Polarity Therapy treatments. This weekend introductory residential course is designed to immerse participants in the Polarity Therapy process. 

Please note: The special longer courses, 20-23 August and March 15-19, 2010 will present additional more advanced polarity therapy theory and techniques.

In a beautiful bush setting at Avalon, enjoying healthy cuisine, joining in daily swim or beach walk, Qi Gong, Yoga and meditation sessions, participants will engage in an energising and refreshing weekend.

Course costs: - Tuition, the course textbook “Polarity Therapy” by Alan Seigel and a journal for reflections and case notes.

Special 4 day course 20/23 August - $600

Special 5 day course 15-19 March 2010 - $750

Accommodation costs: – basic cost $125 perday Single room with shared bathroom, 3 meals each day, Qi Gong and meditation sessions.

We ask participants to make a 25% deposit when booking their course. 

Course Presenters: Chris McGrath PhD RPP/TT and Robbie Hand RPP/TT are Polarity Therapists and experienced trainers. They currently live at Avalon. They practice a range of massage therapies as well as Polarity Therapy. Chris is president of the Australian Polarity Therapy Association. Chris and Robbie are Australasian Representatives for leading international trainers in Polarity Therapy, Masterworks International (http://www.masterworksinternational.com).
